Have you met your doppelganger?

I can't say I've seen anyone look the exact same as me. I've seen people that look similar but with different skin tones etc. But with so few facial options that is a given. I remember being bummed out when I found out a player on another server had my exact name/surname. (I made the name up myself.) So I can imagine how awkward it must feel if you know someone has copied your look too.

It happened to me in WoW once, I had a random player run over and tell me how much they loved my Blood Elf and my name. (Kaelah.) Then they log out, and not long after I see a Blood Elf come up to me that looks the exact copy of mine, with the name "Caelah"... it was kinda creepy.

I used to play Rogadyn female, with the same hair and skin coloration that I have now on Au Ra. You'd think that'd be a sure fire combination for a unique look - but eventually I started seeing another Rogadyn female with very similar hair and skin color, who even used the hairstyle I favored. You just can't win!

So far, I haven't found any dopplegangers for my Au Ra.

Yes, I ran into one during Sephirot Ex farms on my server! She looked exactly like me, same glamour and all IIRC. We've both changed since then (I think she even went Lala for awhile), but it threw me off at first. It was also funny, because I was SCH and she was my co-healer WHM. We farmed together for quite a few days after that xD

There is an NPC in Ul'Dah that looks vaguely like my character. However I've never seen another player character that looks like Duran.

"Black guy with green hair" seems a far less popular look than "Cat girl in bikini".

Like 40% of the catboi population uses my face and hair. I don't think I've seen the particular colors, however.

Nope! Though at one point during the 2.0 days someone asked me to send them my character data so they could copy my character.

It was equally flattering and creepy.

I've seen a couple of kitty people that look like my character (usually with the same face and the same-colored Lightning hair), but never a true doppleganger or clone of my main. I have, however, seen a clone of one of my FC mates. It was quite funny actually.

Back when Nine's hair was first added, and was super popular, my FC mate had been sporting it for a while. He has red hair with white highlights. Well, we were all just hanging out in Gridania one day, when we saw another character that looked almost exactly like my FC mate. Same hairstyle, same color, and they even had the same glamour as he did. It was quite hilarious. A couple weeks later, my FC mate changed his hair, and we ran into his clone again, and his clone had also changed his hairstyle--into the same one my FC mate had! It was hilarious, and now we have a running joke about it in our group of friends.

I have, just a few weeks ago! I was running Syrcus Tower, and I noticed she started posing infront of me after the last boss was dead. We were both wearing the Witch's outfit as glamour, Hellsguard Roegirl, red skintone, short hair, but hers was a different style and color. Now I wish I had taken a screenshot.
