Have you met your doppelganger?

As I was skimming through the recent requests for more character customization options, I remembered meeting a doppelganger of sorts (poor lighting in Aurum Vale) during a daily leveling roulette. While I do not exactly seek to find them with this post, I am strikingly curious as to how often this happens in general.
So, have you met your doppelganger? Tell your (possibly humorous) story!

I have not seen my doppelganger but I have seen many other peoples' doppelgangers.

No, not yet. I've met characters that look a little similar but never anybody with all the subtle details being the same too.

There is this one other Lalafell in the forums who has the same face and beard and wears the same glasses (Pince-nez) as me... but with a darker teint.
Friends of me always say "Oh, there's black Mim.", whenever they see his Avatar.

Nope. So far, I've not found a copy of any of my characters, but I suppose some could become one if they changed hair style, color, the facial markings and glamour.

I haven't met mine either, I seen people who come REALLY close. But I think my combo isn't very desired so not many people use it. Most people love the scars and other face options to make their kitty look older. While mine looks 16 lol.

I never see my dopplegangger, since highlander with my face type is so rare

In all my years of FF I have yet to meet my doppleganger... she'd be the good one

I don't remember how , but I ended up talking to this highlander at some point. I think she may have complimented me on how pretty my roe was or something. I said thank you blahblahblah and we both moved on. Maybe a few days later, she had switched to a femroe that looked eerily similar to mine except with a lighter complexion. I'm not complaining though, more femroes are always a good. In any case, we started talking again, I told her how awesome it was to have more femroes around, blahblahblah, and we go our separate ways again. Maybe a few days later, she strolls up behind me in Limsa. I think i was talking to someone else, I don't remember. Either way, I see her slowly start to glamour into the same exact outfit I was wearing at that moment (btw I think I had that outfit probably since the beginning of Heavensward).

Now, it would have been one thing if every femroe under the sun was wearing that same outfit, but I remember how many compliments I was getting specifically because no one else had an outfit like mine. The boots especially stood out because I had literally never seen anyone else wearing them. Ever. I just liked them because they looked cool. To top it all off, she even copied my hair (same color and everything) and earrings.

After she finishes changing, she immediately runs off and I just sit there like "wow...well, okay lol." I'm not mad someone "stole" my glamour or anything like that. That gear is available to anyone and you can do whatever you want with it. I just find it weird that people actively try and mimic you. Where's the fun in that?
