It's clearly a toggle since it's listed as an ability. Notice no other classes have "Auto Attack" listed.

Just be a massive loss imo for it to go that way, I've never got how less control over actions is better in a lot of peoples eyes.

its not less control... personally i cant see the point why it should be important to press a button every 2-3 secs to perform a regular non important "auto attack".... where is the sense?

its only annoying... and to hear the *weep* weep* tone every fuckin' 3 secs ;D

This really shouldn't be the answer to it... What if you wanna use a weaponskill, you gotta go back into active mode and hope you don't suddenly go into auto-attack mode again.

EVERY class has to switch to non active mode or just deselect the mob thats it, if you dont want to auto attack on it.



well, if ony people like you would be here, who are complaining about new changes then this game would never go into the right direction. People didnt liked the gameplay system... thats what the people complained about. and its SENSELESS to make archer the only class NOT having an auto attack with his Class weapon.

in my opinion it sucks to play an archer right now, in comparison to others.. its not that fluent and comfortable. and i say *WEEP *WEEP *WEEEP* *WEEP [...] tinitus..

Simple solution when you don't want to attack: get out of active mode.

easier: [esc] (deselecting target)

Not for me, my sleep key is directly above my ESC key. Stupid keyboard layout xD

You got plenty of time during the animation to exit out of attack by either using ESC like Tonkra said or getting out of active mode. It's not that hard.
