ARC should not be a Bard

The point is, nobody said anything about Bard being invited as a DD. You brought that up out of the blue. I dont think anyone thought that BRD would be invited as a pure DD. I know I certainly didn't. The patch notes made it pretty clear that BRD was a hybrid buff/DD class. No one thought otherwise, Well, except for you, and it's clear that your reading comprehension is a little lacking, so we'll give you a pass on that one. But at least your opinion is reinforced.

I'll name call, someone who is posting A LOT in here is an idiot. I'm sorry if brd isn't want you personally wanted arc to become, that is for anyone who is q.q about "losing" the pure ranged DD, but it is what it is. Either play brd or don't. You can stay on ARC just like i intend to stay on GLA for tanking, or just use warrior. I wish PLD was alot better but it isn't. There might be plans to fix PLD as it came out in a manner other than intended, Brd is not meant to be and won't be patched to be the pure ranged DD job you pray for. You can be frustrated by this, but yelling at everyone so you can vent your anger isn't the answer.

Ive always been against Archer > bard
Archer -> theif would have been much cooler imo.
Also /rage quits bard at taking away the ability to have all three songs up at once(Comeone SE at least two, even XI let us have two..)

I at first didn't like it either but it has been growing on me. I would have like to see a rogue bard but lets just see how it plays out.

lol I don't even like the flute. I think Bard should have been it's own class. I wish we got ranger or something instead. I miss that boyscout AF. Now we have a cool hat..the puffy shirt from Seinfeld and....colorful pants.

Okay, imho archer is ranger, brd job makes sense because of the position of the archer in battle, keeping the job closer to mages for mp song and constant combos; however, if u want to be near battle, then rain of death and tp song to boost the other jobs dmg. So, they turned archer from a hate focal point, although I still get annoying hate, to an essential catalyst for xp and termination. For eff sake, my lvl is only 47 and my rain of death is 800+.

My experience in FFXI gave me some much fun with this kind of BRD job purely support one. ARCHER have to be RANGER in job and BRD have to come from whatever but not ARCHER nor any melee. Support Mages could be cool like ARCANIST.
