    I will copy/paste what I said in another thread:

    The elementals makes no sense, you might as well just move them all across, why split them?

    CON Mag. 10 be Stone
    CON Mag. 8 be Aero

    THM Mag. 5 be Fire
    THM Mag. 8 be Lightning

    THM Mag. 3 is Blizzard
    BLM Mag. 4 maybe Freeze?

    We missing Water all together (no skill does it) and AMs

    Edit: Btw, the combo system seems to work exactly as I thought. In other words, same way as Xenoblade. This means awesome.

    hmm true.. maybe reason of why they add to level up 2 type of class to get the *job*?

    THM -> BLM; requirements: THM(30) + CON(15) = get some skills off CON to be a BLM? anyway just a poor example.

    Good to see some elements getting the axe.

    Hopefully each element has their own specific purpose instead of making them situational as hell.

    I'm really hoping that list is unfinished, because from the current view of it I think they ditched water magic from the listing. There's supposed to be six elements yet water isn't listed. Also is it me or does it look like they're taking the Conjurer elemental spells and dividing them up between Conjurer and Thaumaturge now? I'm going to wait until we really have more information before I start fussing but so far I really don't like what I see at this point...

    EDIT: If they're going to ditch any elements I'd prefer the axe Ice. Fire, Water, Wind, and Earth have been the staple elements in most games for a very long time. Add in Thunder and that's what most have. Ice is basically just water but frozen.

    i dont think the base element spells got split, i think these are new spells. beside spliting them would change foundmentals of cnj which they already said they aren't doing.

    If they axe ice, then they have to axe shiva, and that's just not cool.
