Um.. that's the same casting animation from the 2.0 pic, also the thm spell just has an effect of stunning when cast. They axed Water but Leviathan is planned and already in the dat files, so that excuse is invalid.
Looks like paralyna to me.
Which brings me to
- No more Paralyze?
- No more Poison?
- No more Slow? (Excluding Pugs Triple Combo)
no Umbral/Dark thus no Dia?
no Astral/Light thus no Bio?
THM Mag. 9 is a type of Shock spikes or has that been removed too?
The other half is coming in 1.21...They axed Water but Leviathan is planned and already in the dat files, so that excuse is invalid.

It feels very incomplete, there is only 9-11 skills per class, what happened to this 15 ? or was that including combo ones, forcing you to combo. And what the heck is up with 4 skills per job? Thats a bit low.
Just sayin' =)The following is a listing of changes to actions planned for patch 1.20, along with those to be introduced alongside the implementation of jobs in 1.21.

Do not see this happening. Throughout SEs history Ice based spells have always been 1 of if not the most potent spells in the game. In FFXI Blizzard and Freeze spells are the ones Blms make sure they gear well for.I'm really hoping that list is unfinished, because from the current view of it I think they ditched water magic from the listing. There's supposed to be six elements yet water isn't listed. Also is it me or does it look like they're taking the Conjurer elemental spells and dividing them up between Conjurer and Thaumaturge now? I'm going to wait until we really have more information before I start fussing but so far I really don't like what I see at this point...
EDIT: If they're going to ditch any elements I'd prefer the axe Ice. Fire, Water, Wind, and Earth have been the staple elements in most games for a very long time. Add in Thunder and that's what most have. Ice is basically just water but frozen.

i dont think the base element spells got split, i think these are new spells. beside spliting them would change foundmentals of cnj which they already said they aren't doing.
Well it certainly looks this way now though. I don't care if CNJ is WHM or BLM, but unless they axe the lore and the gridanian part of the main quest, CNJ absolutely HAVE to have elemental nukes.

Agreed. Quite honestly this alone is my main peeve. Unless I missed something along the way, nothing in the Conjurer storyline nor game-lore dictated that Conjurer was a healer. I believe it's true that they were there to seek peace and protect rather than blow things up with their command of the elements, yet the view Yoshida's got here is going heavily against the in-game lore from what I see so far.
Isn't this what Conjurer does? Apparently they've switched roles now.Thaumaturges are casters who command spells of the six elements to wreak havoc on their enemies.

Well seems potentially good. But will need to see traits to know for sure.
I like most things going on here. I don't like bard to much though, and where is thief. Also, do you get to combine jobs and make them "sub-jobs" like in FFXI. I am sure that it is not a complete listing of everything though, not all the spells are there, we will see more as time gets closer, and then they will tweak it a little when 1.20 is live. Looking forward to trying it out.
The world is your playground, enjoy life!
