Exactly, well putClasses will be able to equip Abilities from other Classes, allowing some openness. I imagine Job Abilities will supplant cross Class ones, rather than just expanding Class Abilities, thus focusing a Class' role. So, not seeing how we were lied to. Classes freeform but with distinct identity; Jobs fulfill specific role. Pretty straight forward.
The lists are concerning to me.
It's just not what I expected.
It's almost like a pure black mage doesn't even exist anymore, and many of the classes I play have lost their identity in favor of being more directed to compliment the jobs. A skill selection of 15 skills is very small, but that's sort of a starting point, I guess.

you will still have access to 30 skills though since you get 5 from jobs and 10 cross class, you are only llimited to 15 if you never unlock your job and never rank another class. The lists are concerning to me.

I don't recall ever seeing a "pure" black mage cast protect, shell, cure, curaga, raise in another final fantasy. Like i said before, conj have always been healers. The lists are concerning to me.

Sounds like people are complaining just to complain as usual.

Ok first of all, Most of the abilities in that list cannot be cross classes. So versatility is out the window.Classes will be able to equip Abilities from other Classes, allowing some openness. Secondly, Repeatedly saying you will not change the fundamental play style of any given classes and then changing the fundamental play style of every class is a Lie.
Saying one thing and doing the exact opposite is a LIE.

they didn't change any classes play style, removing abilities is not changing the play style, name one class whose play style was effected. GLD still tanks, MRD can tank and do DPS, LNC still is a DD with TP management, pug is still a fast attacking evade machine, Arch is still a ranged DD, Con is still a healing focus mage, THM is still a DD mage.Ok first of all, Most of the abilities in that list cannot be cross classes. Waiting for the Bayo/Rukki to come in here and straighten out the real fact... =)

I think your problem is your definition of "fundamental play style" probably differs from others.
Okay, I'm done with this troll, Cry away, Accuse he's lying.. do as you will, your human, and that's quite fine.. but I'm exiting stage left of talking to you.
Anyways, back on topic.. I love these changes and I cant wait to see them in action.. then make my judgement then =).

All level 50s will be noobs on the day on 1.20.
