Best Job for the job? (Solo Palace Achievement)

As the thread title mentions, what would be some of the better/easier jobs to go for the achievements with? Currently I've had some 4-5 frustrating WHM runs end at the floor 40 boss fight (or before, due to RNG shenanigans or silliness). I keep running into a mana deficit at some point and I stop being able to kill adds before Tornado/Shadow Flare. 42/42 gear, if that matters.

I've been doing it as scholar, and I had some trouble with the level 40 boss adds as well at first. Lust pomanders ended up being the best way to kill them. You might get some good mana regen during a lust phase as well. On the plus side that has been so far the hardest boss for me up until 80.

Paladin. Protect, Stoneskin, Clemency/cure, PLD's raw defenses, and PLD dps in palace isn't exactly an issue.

WAR is a good runner up, but if you hit a landmine midfight PLD's gonna have a better time coming back from that with the CD's available to them, and if you're on low health a PLD wont have to stand around wasting time as long for HP regen, cause mp for clemency is gonna come back alot faster than the CD for Second Wind and Thrill will

Just coming back to update that I'm now a Lonely Explorer. Got my Pal-less Palace achievements last night with Warrior, although I had a run as White Mage that made it to floor 100 as well. So I can confirm that Warrior is a beast in Palace.

I just wish now that the dev team could borrow the right to Yakety Sax so that anytime someone hit a toading trap it would play. Probably one of the best moments was engaging a Dark Dragon in the last floors as I triggered one. Fun times.

Tired of these games having FOTM chars in order to beat content. You should be able to clear a solo based content with any class as long as you are a good player on that class. Maybe I don't want or don't have a fotm char and want to do it too.

You can do PotD as any class or job and succeed just fine.

If you want to do a special achievement, suck it up.
