Please give us actually nipples. I'm not sure if this is some attempt to make the game less lewd, or what, but if it is, it's pretty odd. All men have nipples, and they proudly display them at times. Why are ours invisable? Is it a technical problem? I'm not sure.

That's exactly what it is. Japan has it's own standards as to what constitutes "lewd" and nipples are something that generally catches the attention of censors. Even though western standards are different, this is just going to be too much hassle for SE to deal with for too little return.

In the west its only when woman are exposed that people complain about, with males it has always been fine. Male nipples have been shown, in cartoons, comics, games, movies and tv and almost nobody complains, replace him with a her and there will be a outrage.
