    "Whooshing" noise while flying?

So maybe somebody can help me figure this out.

While flying around in the game, I have a really loud "whooshing" noise that pops up every now and then, like a car passing another or entering a tunnel. The thing is, it's louder than everything else and seemingly happens at random. It's also really bass heavy. Long story short, it's the sole reason I play this game with the sound turned off.

Does anybody know what this sound is and if it can be disabled and/or avoided?

That noise tends to occur whenever you fly low past a large object like a cliff face or tower - presumably it's an echo effect of moving air caused by your flight. And no, it cannot be disabled, it's part of the sound fx for the game. I've never really had that much of an issue with it and actually quite like it (I don't find it particularly bass heavy myself - maybe try turning the bass setting on your sound system/sound card down or off to compensate?).

But then I find the sound made by the fireworks during the summer event and the Rising to be annoying, go figure.

Unfortunately, my bass is already turned all the way down. I guess I'm just being overly sensitive to the sound. Wouldn't be the first time.

Guess I'll just have to deal. :P
