Hi, this might get long...

it all started 3 years ago when I took the plunge to buy FFXIV. Game was cool and quite addictive at first. I was playing on PC back then. That 1st year I only got to play about 2 months worth of gaming time, then the issues began. Was running windows 7 at the time. 1st the game kept kicking me out of after logging in, then windows started giving me errors on the game. I re-installed the game (by the way I was using prepaid data which is quite expensive here in South Africa) tried it again and it got to login 'SUCCESS' played for 5 minutes and and it kicked me out again like the last time, no errors from windows or anything. Note, I understand virus guards could have made this error possible but I always turn it on to gaming mode when playing online... so I lost a few days of game time by giving up, my subscription was almost done so I left it.

almost a year after that I tried again and it gave the same problem then I looked into the issue from steam/reddit/squareenix support. They simply instructed to re-install the game. I did it once more, same issues. So I upgraded to win 8, then the game worked again. this time I thought Id get a 90day subscription because I had a lot of catching up to do. I played for about 60days before the same damn issues occurred. I reinstalled it twice after that with no solution. Seeked help again from Square whom suggested a re-install. I opted for windows 10, did a complete overhaul a 2nd time...needless to say It didn't work even after I went back to windows 7, then windows 8 again. Same issues occurred. I eventually lost my other 30 days and took it that my hardware wasn't compatible with what was happening. This was last year right.

I chose to switch to Ps4 about 2 months before FFXV would be released, that was when it was supposed to be released end of sept. So got me a ps4, bought me just FFXIV AAR end of August and resumed gameplay once more. So since its on console, it should be stable, or at least less errors and whatnot. Just bought me a 30day subs and never knew I got added 30days since I purchased it on Ps4 this time, cool. Played for a solid month and then the errors began. Now, this is where it gets interesting. I also ordered heavensward at this time but would take a while before I would get it. The game would at anypoint, login screen or while playing the game... just kick me out with a PS4 error CE-34878-0. I researched and learned that the support sucks and the fact that the advice about 'Re-installing' the game? just didn't sit right with me. It had something to do with corrupt data so I figured it had something to do with the save files maybe and that actually worked for a while. It never happened to any of the other games.
Well, I got heavensward and I also upgraded my ps4 drive to 1TB because my collection was growing but I also just wanted more space. Installed and played heavensward, well played because I wanted to get to ishgard. I knew I had to do 100 quests. I played for 12hours straight for 2 days and managed to finish over 50 quests in that time. I played for another week and I had 5days left of subscription... then other errors hit. I got stuck on the screen right after you choose your character. I did a database rebuild [safemode option] and i managed to get it working with 1 day left on subscription.

Now this is what I dont understand, I almost bought another 90 say, but thought nope because in 1 month FFXV will be here and I wont be playing heavensward much. I mean I bought 30days subscription and it ends around the day FFXV gets released. But, I couldnt get in the game now for a week because at the loading screen, I can hear my character in the background while the loading screen is up. Like the footsteps and the jumping.

I havent seen anything on here that mentions that on ps4. Before I re-install (which might take up to 2 weeks because of our connection, its uncapped but I lose connection often when downloading on the Ps4 because of whatever reasons. But if i use my prepaid wifi dongle anywhere in the house, it works 100%, even if the signal strength is weak. Im not using the dongle to download he game, then re-download the game again, within the game. Its well over 40gig which I don't have.

I just want to know if there is a more geeky fix than re-installing the game. Im quite adept to any tech and the ps4 is no exception. What do I do now.
