It's like this:
It's competition. Yoshi P himself said passions can run hot in competition. If rank points, or the potential to lose them are on the line, people are going to come ready and give their all. If you aren't ready or don't give your all, that can spike frustrations quickly.
There's nothing wrong with being new. We were all new once. Some of us learn quicker than others. Some need guidance.
PLENTY of us are willing to help new players learn, but when it comes to an actual ranked match, that is not the time or place to come looking for lessons.
There are plenty of guides available all around as well. You owe it to yourself and future teammates to do your homework.
Insults are uncalled for, yes, but you are entitled to nothing here.
You make the effort, and others will be willing to help you along. But expecting others to pick up the slack when you're unprepared is asking to have a bad time.

If you think PVP is bad try PoTD... Urgh. On topic - on the first day Feast was released it was about 3-4hrs after the maintenance was finished that I started playing Feast. I instantly got (severe) hatred for even trying to play a ranked game as a newbie late to it. I tried a few times & the vitriol never went away.
When the rankings were reset for the true season to start I had another go & guess what? Yep, the same - I wasn't a "recognised Feast player" (I had played a lot of Frontline & some WD) so the hate came. Now I don't bother, even though I think it would be fun. Primal ranked PVP is caustic.
You know what? Who cares what they said. You wanna battle? Get in there. It's hardly "practice" but there's the unranked 8v8, and now you can make custom 4v4 matches for practice. Duels are good for learning 1v1 scenarios and no-pressure matches. If you think PVP is bad try PoTD... Urgh. Take the steps to learn what you need, then put your skills to the test. Where you succeed, keep it up. Where you fail, learn from it. You can do everything right and someone might still have an issue with it. The key is not to give up if you really want it.

I am probably one of the most skilled players when it comes to PvP, and I still regularly get told to: Stop queueing, kill myself, that I am trash, etc.On topic - on the first day Feast was released it was about 3-4hrs after the maintenance was finished that I started playing Feast. You know what the difference is between me and you? I sucked it up and just kept getting better instead of going to the forums to whine about how mean people are.

Dont let anybody stop you from doing what you want to do. Thats the best way for you to never get good at it. Remember names and try to destroy them when you come across them. In defeat learn from it and try another strat. In victory find your fav dance emote![]()

Didnt even get bronze s2 im not sure if i even want to try s3 cant be bothered dealing with these types of players its a shame i love pvp tooI honestly could care less If it's ranked content, please stop being mean to new players! Instead of saying "shit -insert class/roll" you should try supporting them. This is about teamwork, and not just you. This kind of behavior deters players from playing this part of the game, and should not be tolerated. We pay for our subs, so you HAVE TO play with everyone no matter what. Insults are not proper teamwork, and they just make you a poor player.
