Glamour Gear Request Megathread

Without an hesitation : YoRHa Type-51 Robe of Casting dyable (and non gender lock if you want)


We've been asking something like that for years but the dev team could not give us one because of clipping and melee moving issues but, casters do move too !
(well, some of them actually move from aoes anyway )

The Korean version of FFXIV has the DoL and DoH sets available as glamour pieces (with the restriction you need to have the appropriate DoL/DoH levelled).

These sets are all so beautiful I would love to see this in our version:

I don't think I've seen these sets requested, so here's one for the Ravel Keeper Casting/Healing and Striking/Aiming/Scouting gearsets to be added as all-class glamours. I would like to see the torso pieces of the body gear separated from the dress/bottom-half as they obscure many of the different leg and feet gear combinations. Also, it would good to see the arm-band and tattoo from the striking/aiming/scouting set placed on the hand gear like it is with the casting/healing set. some pictures for reference:

If we're discussing already existing gear, but made for all classes, then I'd want to mention the Swansgrace Coat, Right now it and its -liege counteprart only available to WHM and by counterpart, AST. Would also like to use the Hawkeye MNK stuff on SAM as well.

Actually it might be interesting to take some of the Animal PvP sets and make counterparts of them for certain roles (Caster/Healer gets Swan, Strikers gets Hawk, Fenders/Maimers get Lion, Scouters/Aimers get Bird etc) Then repeat the process with the unused sets (Wolf, Snake, Bear, Bat, etc)

Speaking of which the next best thing would still be making animal i100/110 pvp gear for RDM/SAM/DNC/GNB, but that would also provide opportunities for different animals to be used (Lyrebird for DNC, Tiger for GNB, Falcon for SAM and a horse for RDM).

I am going to assume this has already been requested but I'd love to have the Shisui sets liberated for all jobs.

While the thirst of the masses want for the swimsuits, what I'm after here are all the cute ribbons you get for your hair.

I've been reminded of DCUO and how they have gear items with a sort of "unmoving plaid" texture to them, in several varieties IIRC, the one I want to see in this game, not just for glamour but for boss textures as well would be the Space variation of it. Would make for epic AST glamours and might help emphasie the otherworliness of some future foes.

This is probably a pretty old request by now, but I'd still be pretty happy if this NPC exclusive outfit was made available for player use. There's quite a few versions of it, but the one in particular I'd like is the one Joye/Joye of Nine Faces wears.

I understand that no small amount of work would be required for this, as the boots are part of the dress and the dress itself actually makes your legs invisible. But I'd appreciate it nonetheless.

After playing Shadowbringers and rewatching the 1.0 intro, I wanted to play around with some glamours, only to find out that the thing I wanted to do, was simply impossible.

What I want, is a simple Harness like we saw the Adventurers wear in the 1.0 intro. But that simple black/grey harness does not exist. Several harnesses exist in the game, but none look like the 1.0 harness.

You have the Doctore's Harness, which is basically what the characters wear, but can't be dyed.

The Raptorskin Harness, which can be dyed, but doesn't have the shoulder pauldrons.

Then there's the War Harness, which does look great, but also can't be dyed and is MNK/NIN/SAM exclusive.

And lastly, the Militia Harness. Which can by dyed, can be worn by Disciples of War, but comes with a Coeurl pattern.

Variations of it exist, but it's impossible to replicate the 1.0 look.



Which is especially annoying, because that exact piece of gear exists, but it's not purchasable.

I would really love the Dwarven Cotton Petasos of Healing/Casting added without the attached Dwarf face and beard. It's such a good looking wizard hat that has limited use except for Dwarf glamours.
