Glamour Gear Request Megathread

I would love to see more crafted Lv1 versions of jewellery - especially earrings, since the Aetheryte Earring means that you're unlikely to wear anything else all the way to Lv70, and can't glamour anything higher-leveled onto it, which means nothing but plain gold hoops or novelty animal earrings. Also there are some really nice items locked behind high-level dungeons or restricted to crafter/gatherer sets.

Things I would like to see:

- more colours of plain metal hoops, like the basic Weathered Earrings. There are an assortment of metallic colours used for higher-level earrings such as silver, red, bright blue and pink, but Lv1 can only use gold. Most earrings are fancy pendants, and these plainer ones are much appreciated.

- most importantly of these, silver earrings. Just being able to switch between silver and gold to co-ordinate with outfits makes a big difference, and I miss being able to do that for my lower-leveled characters.

- Tremor Earrings - I would love to see these with different colours of roses

- Ghost Barque earrings or similar

- Genta/Genji earrings

- Manasilver Ear Cuffs

- Genta/Genji necklace

- Alliance necklace and similar

- White Ash necklace / Lignum Vitae necklace

- Manasilver Choker / Dwarven Mythril Choker

- generally, accessories from previous expansions opened to all-class equippability, to cut down on how many versions of identical items we need to store just for glamouring them.

I'd like to see more animal ears like the Halloween wolf ears that replace Miqote and Viera ears. Fox ears, lynx ears, different kinds of bunny and cat ears, mouse ears, ram/lamb ears, etc.

I'd also really like to see leg armor with animal tails attached that override Au Ra and Miqote tails. Fluffy fox tails, scruffy tails, bunny tails, etc.

All dyeable please ^^

I want racial starter gear to be usable across all races. I like allot of the racial gear, but I don't see how I can wear a pair of Au'ra leggins just because I'm a miquote. You'd think that racial gear would be popular fashion among other races. logic aside, it would be cool. Needs to be dye-able as well.

The new Ribbon item is nice but with a lot of hairstyles (especially with Viera), it gets covered up or has crazy clipping issues.
Could we get a Ribbon item that doesn't have the band and sits on the side of the head (like all the dried flowers)?

To add to the past post, how about a /visor on things like the dried flowers and hair clips that switches them to the other side of the player's head?

Alternate use: move the flower in/out slightly.

On some hairstyles, the flower doesn't sit close against the head, and the stalks look awkward.

Likewise for circlets that sometimes sit over hair when they would look better under.

It would be pretty cool if the devs could consider removing a few more gender lock glamours like they did with the golden saucer bunny stuff. One example could be Snow's and Lightning's attire/hair from years past collabs. Guarantee people would buy it up. Or make it available in a golden saucer event!

While I'd like seeing those gender locks removed (so long as it's both of them), at least it's even. There's a set just for women and a set just for men, so everybody gets one or the other. Even though there doesn't seem to be any reason for either gender lock, at least they're not adding to the disparity.

If SE is going to get back to removing gender locks, I want them focusing first on correcting the gender imbalance of having so many female only pieces with no male counterpart. So something like the Thavnairian set that only women can wear would be a better next step. We've been asking for that one for years.

Once the gender disparity is addressed, and every piece of gear in the game either is equippable by both genders or has a counterpart for the other, then it will be time to look at unlocking pairs like the Lightning and Snow sets. But giving everyone equal access to glamour should come first.

Machinist Goggles (level 60 artifact armor).


Ive wanted a pair of goggles like these that are for all classes. Like Cid's but without the gender lock. I've wanted a pair for GNB but as I play a female I am literally OoL.

I'd even take the ARF mentioned at level one as a reuse. After the Zeta relics were reused in SB honestly they might as well just reuse the good parts of outfits. Like these /visor compatible goggles...
