That's awesome newsThanks for the info. I'm so glad it can be useful for other than at my current level.

this quest is not in mor dhona anymore!
From patch 4.1 onward, players only need to be level 15+ to unlock Glamours. Old unlock quests A Self-improving Man and Submission Impossible can now be unlocked at level 15. Requirements for recipe books and recipes are also reduced to level 15.
Additionally, new, alternative unlock quests have been added in Vesper Bay in Western Thanalan:
If I Had a Glamour
Level requirement: 15
NPC: Swyrgeim in Western Thanalan (X:12.6 Y:14.3)
Unlock: Glamours
Absolutely Glamourous
Level requirement: 15
NPC: Swyrgeim in Western Thanalan (X:12.6 Y:14.3)
Requirement: Completion of If I Had a Glamour
Unlock: Glamour Recipes
Old Requirement
To unlock Glamours, players must first complete A Self-improving Man quest which has a level requirement of 50. Players can start the quest by talking to Wiscard in Mor Dhona (x22,y6). Upon completion, the action Cast Glamour will appear under General Actions in the Actions and Traits interface.

Technically you can already use the Odin armour set (sans helmet) for DRK Cecil with the Baron Helm, however, for PLD Cecil you can use PLD AF1 instead (without the Baron Circlet) as it's clearly based on Cecil's PLD sprite from FFIV (not his Amano Art) - another alternative is maybe use Firion's FFII Veteran Reward armour and dye it white?
The problem with knee length skirts is that they have to be made with allowance for the possibility of bulky legwear like sabatons to be worn underneath without clipping badly through the skirt. SE explained about this in a Letter From the Producer Live video a while ago:
So, it is possible, but just difficult.Originally Posted by Gildrein

Q: Suzuki, are there any plans to implement a skirt where the length is somewhere between a mini-skirt (starter gear for female Hyur and Miqo’te) and a long skirt (spring skirt)?
A: Due to system specifications, we've yet to make outfits like this. The reason is that when you combine these with equipment such as darklight boots that comes up to your knees, the graphics with a long skirt are covered around the knees, and for mini-skirts you’re able to see everything. With designs that are somewhere between these two, however, the interference is noticeable. With that said, I understand that players would enjoy more variety in our designs, and I'd like to take on this challenge.
Yoshida: This is a difficult issue, and there are also opinions that since it’s a FINAL FANTASY game it wouldn’t be good to have skirts overlap with other equipment. However, not implementing something due to this would take away the opportunities to enjoy other kinds of gear variety. I personally feel it’s fine to do this and think we should be adding more variety to gear, so the direction we are going is to add as much as we can based on the requests we receive. It’d help if you can all overlook the aspects where there are overlaps.

There already are knee length skirts in the game though, like the Far Eastern Beauty's Koshita from the Mogstation and a few ingame kilts... >3>

I'd like to see:
- Longer yukata or unisex jinbei for this year's Moonfire Faire.
- A dyable dress or circle skirt with petticoats. Really, any gothloli/amaloli fashion.
It's been about a year and I still have a bunch of MGP sitting in my pocket, waiting every patch, are they still planning to release the Gold Saucer bunny outfits for men? https://gamerescape.com/2017/03/11/p...fxiv-qa-panel/
I was hoping with the new glamour system and Gold Saucer fashion feature it would be a nice surprise but it seems not yet....
/sigh....
Two years I've been waiting on the last thing I need to complete the look I want for Raine... A pair of goggles that go up over the forehead. So far as I know, there are only two, one mch only, the other male only.

Please let me glam the 1 handed Mog's Staff weapon over my BLM 2 handed. While I'm disappointed that I wasted money on an unglammable and therefore useless item, the fact that 1 handed weapons share animation with the 2 handeds makes not being able to glam it even more frustrating. Because at least if it would require additional animations/modelling to implement that would be an understandable reason why they haven't been made glammable. Pls pls pls

Been hoping they take more notice of the thread on this subject...
