No actually. At least, not according to this thread, where Yoshi and Lead UI designer Hiroshi Minagawa describe how item glamours actually work programming wise and also why it's not possible from a technical side to allow Job-restricted glamour on any class:

Q: I want to glamour equipment I use on multiple jobs on a job-by-job basis. Do you plan on implementing a feature to do this?
A: Minagawa: Unfortunately, it is not possible. This would require us starting from scratch, or developing an entirely new system. Inside the item data, there is one section which stores information on which graphic to use, and this data can only store one piece of information.

Yoshida: This is not to say we won't do it at all. However, doing so with the current system would require rewriting data for several thousand items, which may lead to bug-related issues. Therefore, even if we were to do it, we would need to come up with another method.

Of course Yoshi actually admitted that it there is a chance they might add it still (and that he did not specifically state a glamour log system), but was still quick to point out the complexity of it, thus it's highly likely this probably won't happen sadly.

Yes yes yes and Yes! barefoot is a thing i've been wanting for a while,
and the hempen glamours are different on lalas but i want the shorts that other races get to use ...

Vastly expanded inventory in 4.0 kinda suggests that we'll either be able to keep all the pieces we need or that they will take advantage of the increased space to fix the issues you were discussing.

Edea's sorceress outfit from FFVIII would be nice. We have alot of loose fitting poofy dresses but none that are more form-fitting. More/Varied heeled shoes would be nice as well.

Since we sort of get capes now sometimes, ie the Berserker gear, how about this as a tank armor.

And if not just a hood as a separate dyeable head piece for all classes. I would love a white hood on a Paladin ilv50 armor. Would bee cool. And hoods work on archers and bandits too.
