A little discovery me and a friend made....

After the release of the "Trees that one shot you if you don't walk past them" moogle quest, me and a friend decided to test this out on other mobs. I wonder what other "sound-aggro" mobs this would work on.... It must be the reindeer suits.

So for we figured out it works on:

Crab
Aurelia
Goobbue
Salamander

Diremites and I think Drakes are also Sound-aggro. Also if you start casting or pull out your weapon since you make a noise they will aggro =P

Hopping on your chocobo also counts as sound, even in "walk" mode. Trees are somewhat unique in that they only care about the walking; most other mobs will ignore you walking by unless you are very close, it also detects by sight, or you "make noise" (cast spell, attack, run).

Ogres, Ahrimans, Raptors, Piestes and i believe Bombs are sight aggro, their los is very small, you can easily run a yalm to thier side and they wont aggro you, boars are either true-sound or have a 360 degree los cuz i walked up behind one and he aggroed me, can't figure out how to get past them.

Edit: Toads are also sight.

Edit 2: Morbols act the same as boars.

oooo nice, with this little tidbit of information i can get the last of my nodes
