Gardening as An Apartment Owner - Please Make Crossing Possible

I'm disappointed that gardening options for apartment owners are extremely basic.

I understand SE want to give perks to players who fork out a lot more cash for a house, so they won't make apartments equal to them. However many who can easily afford a house cannot get one due to the exceptionally low amount of plots. Sure you could join a fc but there is no guarantee you can even use the gardening patches.

I don't think it's fair to essentially punish players for simply not being lucky enough to have access to a house's gardening patches. There needs to be something more than two little pots for apartment owners.

At the very least SE should introduce a pot that has two planting nodes so crossing would be possible. It would be massively inferior to having an actual gardening patch but apartment owners would no longer be completely locked out of useful feature of the game that has more than just cosmetic use.

If you're absolutely dying to cross something before you find a house (or square finally gives access to these features to everyone), you could try going through wards as there are a slew of people who just have empty gardens because they find them tedious. You might be able to reach a deal for tenant status to use their garden plot (free, rent it weekly or a % of the crop). Also check with FC members who have houses as sometimes they wont be using theirs.

I already have access to a house - a friend of mine has made me a tenant. However I know not everyone is lucky as I am. Your suggestion is good and thanks for that, but it does rely a lot on luck.

^^ As an owner of a Medium on main and Small on alt, plus families houses I personally have more garden space then I need most of the time. It bothers me to see them unused so I swap out friends as tenants every couple months if someone says they want to garden. You can give a tenant access to nothing but the garden so it's really zero risk. You must know a few people with houses on your friend list somewhere.

THe obvious issue is that there are never any damn houses for sale - regardless of whether you'd be willing to fork out the cash or not. SE of course has ignored this issue for years, instead choosing to lock more and more behind housing while it increasingly becomes restricted and enriches fewer and fewer players. Whoever is in charge of housing planning should be fired for how terrible this has been for so long.

Well you are on Gilgamesh... houses will go for sale, just like any other server, but since you're competing with so many more people, your chances of getting one are considerably lower. Problems of being on one of the super servers...

I'm on Sargatanas (also on Aether) and while our server is nowhere near Balmung/Gilgamesh proportions, it still feels very active to me and when the big demolish happened, there were houses for over 6 hours (although towards the end they were just Goblet small houses).
