Demolition This Week (?)

It's a day or so around the 10th as it's offset by maintenance as well. No one but Square knows the exact time for the release of the inactive plots. Since the timer was just suspended and not reset however, there are some plots that are getting demolished before the ones from the last land rush. I'd be a bit more vigilant about looking for a plot around the 10th-12th if you haven't found something before then, but just keep checking everytime you teleport into one of the major cities and hopefully you catch one listed (it'll show up as a white price tag instead of a red or blue name next to the plot number).

Houses have already been turning over at a pretty steady clip, on Exodus. You just have to go check the aetherites every so often, and you may be surprised what turns up. JUST casually checking over the course of a week, Ives een five open, in all sizes.

Does anyone know if patches and maintenance times also affect the 45 day period after 3.4? There's been around 5 or 6 maintenances, that is a pretty hefty amount of time.

Also does anyone know if you are inside the map of the house that gets demolished, does it get destroyed in front of your very eyes and is available for immediate purchase, or do you have to, like, reload the map to see it?

Only Square knows if they've changed it and they've not given us any indication as such. It should just return to a plot of land with a red ground marker where the house will go instantly when the house is demolished (that's how it worked around x-mas when I was plot camping). Make sure you're standing by the placard when the house disappears as that's what you purchase the plot from.

There are a lot of factors for when people that had been in their house prior to 3.4 (when the auto-demolish was stopped) and had a full 45-days on them. I'd assume Friday morning at the earliest, yet with all the maintenance, it is quite possible that it is more like Sunday. We don't even know when they actually begin the timer again. It is from when the server comes up? When players can log in? It is too much to guess. But, I'd put even money on Sunday.

I also heard it about. If I didnt calculate wrong, it should of been today (11th Nov). But Im not seeing any free plots yet... Either Im to late or it hasnt started yet. :/

Yes you have to! I just found out.

Days related to maintenance, server outages, or other times when the server is not operational (“Maintenance Events”) do not count towards the total inactivity time period. As a result, the actual removal date may be subject to delay due to such Maintenance Events. (The removal will never occur before the aforementioned Removal Date.)

All gone in seconds... Probably to people who have multiple on their account already or who will try to sell them for triple price in coming weeks. When is SE going to fix this broken system and at least make it look like it's pretending to be fair? Their continued incompetence on this issue is past the point of tolerable.
