Chocobo style house

I think it's pretty cheesy that you need FC only items to do your house in chocobo style. The MB is out of the question and my FC was not offering to help me in any way. Another strike for FFXIV...

Absolutely. I'm not familiar with how the airships work but it shouldn't be too farfetched to have whoever is in charge of those get the plans for the Chocobo Wall. After that you can always PF and get randoms to help you advance. This is assuming you are wanting to build it for your personal home.

FYI it's a huge endeavor to take on by yourself. Start gathering the mats now and don't start until you have the majority of them, if not all.

If the recipe isn't unlocked and the fc doesn't have the mats available to unlock it, you might try PF. A lot of people that have been doing airships awhile are probably swimming in the materials and can't post them on the mb. The cassia logs and vivianite shouldn't be that spendy on the mb either (that's going by my server though, perhaps its worse on your server?). As long as you can gather your own materials then it really shouldn't be that bad. Think of it as a personal project gathering all the materials.

In my FC anyone can go build something on the workstation and many will gladly help. Although when you do ask for help make sure you have all the mats for a stage to reduce the waiting time.
