    Question about the PS4Pro

I plan on buying one before stormblood hits. So I was wondering will I be able to transfer my data from the regular ps4 to the pro?

Or will I have to buy HW again?

You should still be able to play Heavensward, since your account will still have the license to play Heavensward: Final Fantasy XIV on the PlayStation 4.

Think of it like buying a downloadable game - you'll lose the save data (in FFXIV's case, this just means certain things held clientside, like gear sets and hotbars), but you can still play the game.

i think you have to download it again or you replace the harddrive with that from your old PS4 (can work, doesn't have to), PS4 license should work for PS4Pro too.

You can actually download/backup everything on your PS4 onto an external hard drive. Then transfer it to the new system. I did that when I switched to an SD hard drive on my PS. It's super easy to do. Just takes a couple hours.

A PS4 Pro is a PS4. You will be able to transfer all games to it you already own.

Just switch the HDD from old PS4 to PS4 Pro. Don't have to download anything.
Except if the PS4 Pro don't accept the HDD because it have datas from another console on it. Just try it out.

I don't get why people are going crazy about the PS4 pro. It's a PS4, just more powerful. Still a PS4. Even has PS4 in its name. No one went crazy about the Xbox One Elite. What's with the Sony playerbase?
I myself am a PS4 player and getting the pro next Thursday (release day) and know that it is just like any other PS4 console in regards to games and/or anything you put on it. You'll have to swap over all downloads and whatnot just as if you were replacing your PS4 with another regular PS4.
