you don't "really" lose anything when you land ifrit normal for levelling. you get a massive bonus when you kill it based on your level. if you're 58-59 for example you get something like 650-700k exp bonus for a 3-4 minute fight. it's almost the equivelant of a full run of the vault

As a low level you get so much less. AND Trials don't fill any of your challenge log(dungeon) entries. Because that was made for dungeons. Not trials.

On a exp/time ratio the likes of Ifrit NM for levelling roulette is quite literally the best XP possible in the game. You don't lose anything because you clear it in a couple of minutes and have loads of time left to do anything else to get additional exp.
