This team didn't design most of that stuff in 1.0.
Everything from this team is cookie cutter don't shake things up type stuff for the most part. They have done a few things outside their standard but most things might as well be cut & pasted with new skins.
I'd be fine with mounts in *certain* dungeons, such as if built in a way as to be purposely expansive and too, say, multilinear for shortcuts to do the trick. Improving somewhat on the shortcuts themselves would otherwise serve the same function (as the OP mentioned a few posts down).
Absolutely agreed on tells (and access to the LS/FC windows) in duty.
Given how little stealth is involved in PvP as is, I'd argue it doesn't warrant a restriction from LS or FC chat either. By the time it does become a big deal, I hope we'll have moved beyond the 'the faction least doubled against generally wins' paradigm for many of our PvP duties, at which point only trolls could giving away "key" information about your team to an LS mate would in turn harm your chances, rather than become information by which a pincer against the remaining team could, potentially, be made. If they're going to go that far to throw their friends on the other team a bone, their trolling will likely be obvious enough to report them—in which case, what's the harm in allowing social chat even in PvP?
I'm bugged constantly by a friend to transfer to his world in another server, yet I'm part of an FC I'd rather not be without. I'd imagine it'd be asking too much to perk up that request of realm communication to cross-server communication, but one can dream.

Wow, I couldn't read all comments but I appreciate everyone's insight especially the snarky jerks. However, I simply suggested mounts because whenever I take a short cut I still have to go quite a bit of ways to get to my destination point. Yes, true it's not THAT bad but still it's not fun being rushed and bullied that you're too slow and plus I can understand because people have work/school maybe instead of mounts they can IMPROVE where the shortcut directs you!- Moving on.. Regarding opening FC profile, maybe it would be a nice feature to remove someone harassing some people in the Company or just to check who is online. Regardless I don't see why this restriction is even necessary or why we are unable to send/receive tells due to being in a different "place" and even if someone was harassing you. Extend the blacklist and it won't be an issue.

No to Mounts in dngs the mojarity of them are small and linear regardless. As for tells I also have to disgree too. Base on what you said your FC mate can msg you in FC chat and Linkshell are their as well. If you want someone to msg you that isnt apart of the FC/LS either write a msg in the mailbox or just wait until your done. I always tell people in /tells Im inquene for DF and about to go in. We dont need people to be distracted DF run with more things that aren't Sensual to the event.

I do find it strange we can talk in /fc and /l but not open their windows. Sometimes it's hindered me for whatever little reason I instinctively tried top open them up in duty (like seeing who of my fc is where in prep for another duty instance in my head, see who's not busy themselves and such). Then again, perhaps they closed these off because it would be too distracting... xP Not that I personally have much trouble with dungeons, but it's just a potentially little extra distraction on top of everything else I wager.![]()

Didn't the devs recently say that they cut out needlessinformation while in duty for data purposes or something?
