Very low fps 15-25 with GeForce GTX 960m

Hey everyone! I'm having problems with my fps. It stays between 15-25 fps which is quite unplayable. I have no problems with other games. Here are my specs: Intel Core i7-5950HQ, 12.0 GB RAM, 64-bit, Nvidia GeForce 960M, Windows 10.

HERE ARE THE THINGS I'VE ALREADY TRIED TO FIX THE PROBLEM:
- setting FFXIV to run on the GTX 960m
- uninstalled the drivers with DDU and installing the latest drivers
- turned off Vertical Sync under Nvidia 3D settings
- I've also tried running some settings on low in-game and it does nothing
- running on high battery settings

Is that one of those dual graphics card laptops? Try setting the GTX to your primary graphics card BEFORE loading XIV loads. Or from what I understand on some machines you can specify from Windows to run on a specific card by right-click and selecting when you run. Hope this is some help!

Yup I've tried it. Still nothing.

Are you on windowed or borderless window? My laptop stutters on borderless, but I get consistent 45+ frames on fullscreen.
