Can PotD floors 80 to 100 even be done without tank and healer?

Hello everyone, just got out of floors 71-80 from Palace of the Dead after wiping in the last 5% of the boss. Our party was a healer and 3 DPS and we barely made it to boss room.

The place is an absolute troll. Roaming Cyclopses that do Eye of the Beholder and 100 tonze swing, two attacks that need move to dodge and if not death is almost guaranteed.

If you get past those things (we had 16 of them show up in one floor and we had to do miracles to survive) then come the Birds of the Palace with their somewhat fast Revelation AoE that more or less kills you if you are not shielded or not a tank.

It just gets me worried for what comes after. I know floors 101 and beyond need a regular 4 man party like in other dungeons but these floors 70 to 100 are just traumatizing as to how hopeless it all is without a healer on point.

What are your conclusions on floors 70 and beyond?

But can it actually be done is the question.
The Devs have been known to not test everything they add to the game and to wait and see how the players fair before stepping in. >w>

did floor 80-90 no heals or tank 90-100 well ...i cleared it with a heals and tank

Yeah, I ask you all this because, well, my run of the floors 71-80 as really, really hellish. I am talking swarms of monsters just appearing (no traps) one after the other and then one hit KO moves coming into play on basic roaming mobs. Not even the boss at floor 80 hit as hard as those accursed monsters.

We could have won had our healer been able to dodge the so-huge-AoEs-that-they-are-practically-impossible-to-dodge AoEs the boss at floor 80 does.

I will try again in a week or something. Wiping at 5% of the boss just... drained my patch happiness completely.

Yeah I'm hearing reports that 51+ is hellish. Now there was one person who said that who thought you needed a tank on the last two sets of original floors (I did the last with 4 healers easily before) so I take what they say with a grain of salt. But there are others who have had an experience more like mine who also are reporting this. This was a great way for players to level secondary dps classes. And I love going in by myself for a matched party and making whatever we get work, adjusting tactics where necessary. I'm sad to hear of mechanics being implemented that force a certain party makeup and it makes PotD not PotD any longer.

Can confirm you can beat floor 90 boss with all dps just did so. on 2nd clear. 100 boss i think u can if u save all rages and angels for add phases

I didn't even make it past the 61st floor with pure DPS groups, so I'm amazed you made it to 80 before encountering troubles °-°

The Sahagin Mount monster just insta-kills everything that encounters it with the vul+ debuff, and no healer means no despell.
But if you made it past that, I assume there is a way. Because of that, I'm pretty sure there also is a way to get to 100 without tanks and healers.

its best to just pull back as much as possible and do it one at a time its slow but works.

It will get easier as you level up your arm and armour from.30/30 to 99/99
