Yes, the achievement was not retroactive.
I will need to complete floors 1-50 solo again.
Last time I did it as a Summoner, but I have not played Summoner since then.
I probably can't play very well, so I will try as a ninja.

I'm pretty upset by the new PotD requirements. I have two friends that I can consistently play with, but our play window is very small. Finding a 4th person who is available for that limited window and is willing to only play for ~an hour per day is going to be very difficult.
PotD went from one of the most casual friendly pieces of content in the game to one of the least overnight.

S-E has also stated time and time again that 100-200 was not meant for casual friendly stuff. It was meant to be the equal to Savage raid.I'm pretty upset by the new PotD requirements. Short of having a good group being able to coordinate together, Savage raids normally don't do very well in DF. Nor are they added initially to the DF. This doesn't stray from the norm.
Kinda confused why you'd be upset to content you don't have time to do. You wouldn't be able to master a Savage raid in an hour. This amounts to the same.
So if you want to do potd 101+ you are essentialy forced to create a PERMANENT 4 man static without the ability of swaping out members? This is an even harsher requirement than a savage static haha. What an absolutely moronic way of doing it...
Why lock out people out of floors 101+ llike this?! Just make the qeue requirement akin to that of savage raids, there is absolutely no need for this fixed garbage.

You don't need a full party, but it's going to be very difficult to clear this content without one. At the very least, it will be much slower.
It just seems a very odd decision to have incredibly casual content go straight into hardcore content. It would be like saying you can buy the Fenrir mount with MGP earned from Triple Triad, but you have to beat A8S to do it. It's especially odd since this has story content, and they said with Alexander that they no longer wanted to gate any story behind hardcore-only content. I don't necessarily agree with that (I loved accessing story by beating Coils) but I wish they'd pick a side and stick with it.
So you keep saying, and you are technically correct. But if this is really supposed to be challenging content, having less than four people will obviously make it even more challenging (you don't get any kind of bonus for going in undersized). So if you don't have exactly four people playing together, you are going to suffer - if you have less, it's harder than intended, and if you have more, someone gets left out.
Personally, I won't be touching floors 101+ for the same reason I don't raid: I refuse to play on a schedule. Disappointed by this choice, but it is what it is. I'll still enjoy 51-100.
The difference is that it's much easier to get 2 or 3 members than it is to get 4.
