Are achievements retroactive?

If I've already cleared an achievement in the past, before the achievement was added to the game, will I automatically receive the achievement when I log in?

I am asking because I've already cleared floors 1-50 solo.

You'll need to convert your 30/30 to the actual equipable item and then get back up to 60/60 by the sound of it, given that it says Padjali and not simply aetherpool.

Yeah, i doubt they would make it that easy.

if you got 30/30, you just play to floor100 and get 60/60, buy a padjal, then go to floor 100 again, and get 60/60 again, and upgrade to kinna weapon.
also it is easy, because many ppl have padjal wep and 30/30 and can go to floor 100 and get Kinna wep, pretty much right away.

it's probably retroactive; i think the only time it wasn't, was when we transition from 1.0-2.0 (well some were retroactive) so i think you log in, and new achievements should pop up right away.

It's actually even easier now, if you look at a post i made later. Now buying a padjali/kinna remove 30/60 on your arm/armor. Meaning if i had 75 arm/armor and bought a padjali it would drop to +45 instead of resetting to zero.

In my case i'll hold it till +99, i assume the late 150/160 floors will require almost a maxed out armor and arm. I'll get the Kinna weapon down the line.

ya, in my case i already have all sophia weps, so don't really need any kinna wep, so it'll be a glam item later on.
since it's 200 floors, and 99/99, i'd just go with 1 enhancement for every 2 floors, as minimum req. and i don't think you'll need 99/99 unless you're going solo.

That's possible, we'll have to see how hard those floors actually are.

Indeed, I do not mind the whole "zero KO" part, but having to find 3 other players and starting from floor 1 and you need to stick with those players from start to finish and if 1 of them dies you have to start from the begining, is a little a too much.

which now means that you have to start from 1 again to even get the chance to try out 101

Based off of the patch notes, you can also get to 101+ if you start from level 51.

No way to know until it's actually up, but if you've at least still got the clear save it's possible maybe. If it's gone? Not likely at all. The only way it'd happen otherwise is if there's been something hidden away tracking that stuff from the start.

Even in that case, achievements were never rectroactively given. The progression bar might be full but one needs to perform one more time the requirement for the achievement to be unlocked.

For instance, when HW was released, new dungeon completion achievements were unlocked. A lot of people already had run so many dungeons that they should have got them. However, they earned these achievements only after running their first dungeon post-HW release (mostly Dusk Vigil).

The way new achievements usually work is that you need to do the task one more time in order to unlock them. For example, if they added an achievement for "Complete Sastasha 5,000 times" and you had already completed Sastasha 7,136 times, you would still need to complete it one more time in order for the achievement to unlock, even though you should already be eligible for it.

For the "Clear the 1st through the 50th floors of the Palace of the Dead solo." achievement, it is pretty much a guarantee that you won't unlock those simply by logging in after the patch. In the best case scenario, you might be able to unlock it by continuing a solo level 50 save and completing floors 51-60.
