Anima Update - Item Level

the item level doesn't bother me much since I'm doing just for glamour, well sort off but different topic. One thing I don't look forward too is the new quests. Sure we don't know what it is right now, but if it's close to the light from the old relics, I probably gonna throw my pc out of the window. I hated that part so much, or the stupid dungeon runs to gain an item.... (member the 240 runs of copper bell hm, anyone?!)

I am honestly against welfare weapon being higher than 260 shire.
Raiders should be highly rewarded at any given point in my opinion.

I was really hoping for 265 at least. Anima weapon will be useless as soon as every raider gets their Alexander weapons and / or augmented shire weapons.

Why does it matter what others have? I showed the timeline on why 260 makes complete sense compared to savage raiders, to anima holders, and those who don't do the anima at-all.

Get into Savage raiding and you'll see why the effort is actually harder and more rewarding than a mindless casual content grind for an anima.

And casuals don't need high ilvl weapons since they don't really do much outside of dungeon roulette.

Not everyone has the skill to be able to do so, let alone the time to commit to forming and maintaining a static group of other players who also have said skill.

Plus, looking at the scholar's 275 book, i really want my relic to go higherxD ( piety det is not a reward for Killing a12s lol)

More like not everyone has the commitment or time to work on an anima, raiding, or to get better at learning mechanics/job to complete harder content. The amount of people who still don't even have the 240 anima step done, let alone have a i255 Sophia Extreme weapon is high, and yet is the easiest extreme primal of this expansion. Some just want a free ilvl boost to the max with mindless effort, for what? Expert roulette?

It's a good personal accomplishment to put a check mark you completed all the hardest content from extremes to savage. You are very likely to make more friends who share the same goals. Plus everyone in the raid gets rewarded over time. Anima is your own weapon, on your own free time. Sure we don't need the BiS. However you'd be surprised what raiders like to do outside of our raid time. We help other savage groups clear stuff for their loot, drop into extreme primals to help clears, farm, etc.

Weapon Damage>All other substats for healers. Plus that A12S healer coat has all that juicy crit.

The stats from A12s Weps are garbage. Simple as that. Plus savage is like coil level so it's pug doable.

I'm glad Anima is 260 I'm expecting the last step be 270

its no good in stormblood i need the relic to be good now

With some Theory crafting some people have calculated that some of the 260 relics will actually be better than their Shire equivalents due to optimal secondary stats. The WAR relic for example only has the Savage Alex weapon as superior.
