Its nice though for Healers still. You get your Accuracy without needing to overmeld, forcing you to hold onto green i250 pieces, when eventually you should be at least 260 from shire + raids. :O

I only use my sophia weapon in expert since ACC doesn't matter there.

Yeah, I'll probably get two weeks worth of use out of the 260 anima upgrade at-best. Until it's my turn for an A11S gobdip or I'll likely just spend the pages for it for the Shire 270 upgrade. Or we just kill A12S this coming month and then it's whatever I can get by with lol. Higher Weapon Damage still is the best upgrade over any substat for healers, then ACC cap. I do like right side VIT V melds for progression, so I agree the anima does help, it's not a need but certainly it gives more options for healers with raid progression too.

I do need to remove some of the 120 ACC off my SCH anima though, as I'm sure most were planning on this tier being much higher than A8S. Plus I plan on keeping all three healers at cap.

You might as well keep it at 120 though. Any materia you don't have to slot with Accuracy, you can slot with Crit (or Vit.)

Yep. I thought about that too. Could just leave it at 120 ACC/120 Crit anyway, as any other SCH substat is really negligible. Although one can make an argument PIE is pretty good for SCH too this tier too considering our stack usage.

Just weird to finally end up having 100 ACC over the cap with my current gear/melds, I'm still depending on some 250 crafted left side as we hadn't been lucky with getting savage healer drops since week one. As once I replace my last two crafted right sides and my head that's easily -54 ACC.

Above any of the raid weapons would be nice why should i put the time in only for it to become useless because square wants to pander to raiders

Relic will always be one step behind the highest raid weapon of the tier until the end of the tier (where the relic will be on par).

As people have mentioned before, it's harder to get raid weapons than do the relic. I do wish they started relic on start of a new tier so that there are more options and ilevels to work through.

-i255 Sophia Extreme
-i260 A10S Micro tome drop + 1000 Scripture. Realistically the earliest they could be bought was first day of week 3.
-i270 A11S Gobdip upgrade drop
-i275 A12S drop

From week 6:
-i255 new PoTD. Another option for those that did not get a weapon from Sophia Extreme.
-i260 Anima. Those current with 240 step will get an opportunity to get an upgrade before those that don't have a current anima.

From week 7:
-i260 Free Alexander Micro-tome after 7 weeks of A12N + 1000 scripture, for those that don't raid Alex Savage or have an anima.

It was a given that it wasn't gonna match raid weapons until the final patch, where it then becomes BiS for everyone

zeta was useful in 3.0 until level 55 or so...
i assume the same will happen for 4.0
