being relic takes longer time to do I don't agree with raider weapon being higher. You can get that with a decent group. Now if they made it to have to raided weapon to make it even or higher that should be good.

Relic should always be the best weapon period they hold legendary names... The amount of work put into it is highest achievement compare to Raid weapons any day.

Then you complete invalidate both Savage and tome weapons. And frankly, clearing Savage is much harder than grinding out old content.

And a long time reward (longevity motivation for present and future), for sticking with the game for so long and all those dedicated masochistic steps too haha... I remember relic weapons from FFXI, less than 1% of the playerbase had them, and the stats were wtfomg OP. =P

Plus I read somewhere a long time ago about how Yoshi said they would b on par with the strongest raid weapons at the time. =)

FFXI Relics needed you to be near rich for them tho, but yea, i remember when i finished my Annihilator i was happy to be done with it after months of collecting.. BUT it lasted for a very long time. i have not played 11 in years but i am fairly sure they are still the best weapons baring whatever upgrades since 2012 and was not beatable by anything bought or dropped. that IS how i think relics should be (not the gill sink part) but here, they die out with the content in time. and they can't be stronger then raid weapons or raiders would cry rivers of tears.

Yep, I always dreamed of a Spharai for my mnk (or however you spelled it) and once you got it, you knew it was gonna be near immortally the BiS weapon til end of days lol =D

Grats on having a relic in XI, you were one of very few ^^, I just wish this game didn't have such a fast pace of things going obsolete in milliseconds XD
