Whoever said that to you said so in bad faith. Some people just hate respecting the right of people of getting the end of their FF games, EVEN with the extra prize that comes with it. It honestly doesn't put more than 5-8 minutes on the run, if you are a slow reader.

Get one single person at 60 to do it unsync'd with you and it'll be done faster than a 8 lvl50 party in DF while they rush you to skip cutscenes saying you can watch them in the inn. It's not the same thing, it has not nearly the same weight.
