Tiling in Idyllshire

So the tiling in idyllshire looks cool. That is until you get a closer look. It doesn't line up very well and upon close inspection it is quite obvious. As you can see here, the tiles don't line up at the top and bottom of the stairs. The tiling is also slightly off in this screenshot with the tiles and the stone dividing the tiles. I almost want to pick up the tiles, minecraft style, and adjust it.

Does anyone else feel the same?

Hand made tiles are almost never perfectly uniform. I think that's the look they were going for.

It's just a texturing fail. Honestly if you look at most games its a hundred times worse. As a 3d modeler I have to give this games props for the detail they do to keep sure most of its right when most developers let stuff slide

Can't say I feel the same as it's common to require edges of tiled floors or walls to have chopped down tiles to fill edges as it's usually more about the look of individual tiles and patterns than if they perfectly measure up to a space.

I don't see it, and moreover I don't want to see it because once I see it I won't be able to unsee it and it will always bother me.

Cannot tell if serious... if you are though~

1st pic: The tiles don't line up from the top to bottom of the stairs because they extend further out on the lower level. To keep the grout line perfect down those steps they would have had to cut off some tile on the lower level against the wall, and that would look horrible.

2nd pic: I'm not even sure what you are referring to here. The patterned tiles all line up perfectly even with the brown ones inbetween them. If you are complaining about the lines in the brown tiles not lining up with the patterned white ones then you are just a crazy perfectionist. They are bordering tiles, they don't need to be uniform imo.

I feel for you though, when OCD about these things they can drive you crazy.
