    Idea for 4.0 savage mode dungeons

    How about having savage mode dungeons for 4.0. Since there will be leveling dungeons for the 61 to 70 levels why not take all those dungeons and make a savage mode for level 70 of all the leveling dungeons

    savage mode would have,
    -eveything has more hp and does more damage
    - Trash mobs that are hard and can kill you if you don't stun their abilities dps it down fast.
    -bosses that do so much damage that you must use cooldowns have really good healers
    -party wipe mechanics and 1 shot moves
    -enrage timers
    -more complex mechanics from bosses then when you were leveling

    savage mode dungeons could drop gear almost on par with savage mode raids but not quite as good.

    Dungeons aren't supposed to be hard. Players will start complaining it is too hard and im sure you know what will follow

    That's why they should be optional savage 4 man dungeons.

    I need this plus these savage dungeons should drop more tomestones and better gear/minions

    I do wish there was more challenging content besides Savage Raids or EX primals. I don't have a static to even start raiding (and I don't know if I am up-to-par to raid, as much as I would like to give it a shot). And as much as I love EX primals, I would like some more options with regards to challenging content. And if they're optional, then people who don't want to do them/only want to stick to more casual content, don't have to do them.

    Dungeons are supposed to be whatever entertainment can be provided by whatever content a few vague criteria determined as being a "dungeon" can provide. No less.

    And if what follows is equal parts outrage and elation to the result of fewer people restricting development through preconceived notions... I'd be happy with that.

    And this is among the reasons why people struggle with actual difficult content later on. What incentive do they have to learn a proper rotation if they can just grab lore gear and murder everything with three buttons? At release, a good number of people were demanding Weeping City be nerfed because it was too hard. The devs flat out said no and people eventually got it. If the rewards are good enough, people will suck it up and do content. Now dungeons aren't ever going to be "hard" in a savage sense, but they can certainly be challenging enough you actually have to heal or can't just pull the room.

    On topic! I'd love for harder content beyond just raids. Would suggest being careful with buffing trash mob HP though. I, personally, find it boring if the "challenge" comes from massive health bars and not mechanics.

    I like the idea of optional savage dungeons.
    They don't need new storylines, new dungeon layouts or whatever, just hard hitting enemies and better loot / slightly more tomes to give the players an incentive to clear them.

    The idea of (slightly more) hardcore content for small parties is pretty neat. More content variety is always a good thing.

    Why sure! After the raging success of Savage mode raids, savage mode dungeons are only consequent.

    I mean, what could possibly go wrong?
