Get accuracy to the cap you want, probably 594, then fill crit, then whatever you can't shove crit into, put Det. If there are places you can't put crit into and need accuracy, meld into those slots first.

Doesn't Spell Speed work pretty well for SMN's too? or does it still just have absolutely awful scaling?

ss increases dot dmg and decreases cds though you can get an extra Ruin III in trance mode with round about 750-800 ss. det increases your min overall dmg burst/dot/egi and therefor it boosts crit dmg as well but as higher your det goes the less your dmg boost is.

ss isn't related to crit so beside dot/cds its just useful for hard-casts like shadowflare or emergency res.

we have both builds in our static the common "crit > det = ss" build (currently ilvl 256) and another more exotic "ss > crit = det" build (currently ilvl 253) - comparing those two builds the first build is around +200-300 dps ahead on our savage runs.

saying so it's just our intern experience ^^ /

I would fill my Accuracy Cap then i'd go into Crit and Spell Speed which increases your DoT damage. If the piece doesn´t allow you to put in crit or ss the go for Determination
