Cure vs Physick as Scholar

I am at work, so I cannot just log in and check this information in game.

According to two online databases I have looked at, Cure and Physick have the same potency, cast time, and cooldown; however, Cure costs less mana. At level 60, Cure costs 442MP while Physick costs 530MP. Is this true?

And if it is true, I know it seems redundant to take Cure as a cross class skill, but that is 88MP saved with every cast(more than a 16% MP discount). How bad are Scholar MP problems?

Scholar only really has any MP problems when things go really bad, like, REALLY bad. I thought both Cure & Physick cost the same MP so maybe there's an error in your source.

Cure has the same cost as physick at all levels.

You should be cross classing:
Cleric Stance, Protect, Aero, Swiftcast.

The final slot is dependent on content. In dungeons with large pulls [4+ mobs at 60, 2+ at 50] use Blizzard II. For content with a single target like Trials, Stoneskin might be a better option. You probably won't use it, but you're more likely to use it than blizzard II against a single target.

I thought they should not be the same costs, but both main wikis for this game list different costs. One was even marked as updated in 2016 :/

While leveling THM for Swiftcast, I would spam Physick occasionally out of boredom :-p

I really hate the sound effect of Physick, so while leveling SCH, I cross-classed Cure just so I wouldn't have to listen to it :3
I think there was only ever one party that actually noticed it and was like "wait, where is the Cure coming from"

I don't mind a scholar using cure... but I've seen a white mage using physick... because idk... doesn't like freecure procs?
