Need DEV attention please, Sleipnir Lore

Hi,
I bought the Sleipnir mount from Mog station back soon as it came out, pre Heavensward. I am blown away by the fact that we are so deep into Heavensward now, and other mounts have been made flyable, but not Sleipnir? Sleipnir is a pay to earn, $24 no less..
In the FF lore, he CAN fly (skipping over the fact we got jipped out of 2 legs lol), but he flies in various games and cartoons with mist under his feet... I think since clearly this is the FFXIV version with 4 legs instead of 6; It'd be fitting to give him just a simple purple mist under his feet to fly on.

This is a big deal to me, especially since its my $24 extra in game purchase, that downgraded from show-off piece to never useable.. I gave it time and it's not fixed yet.. so please give this the attention it deserves :) (It would dramatically increase your sales too!!!)

I'd like to see it able to fly because I use it a lot myself, but I want to assume that it will eventually be updated somehow to keep it sellable. Idk...it would be nice.

I don't really see how this is a lore issue? As far as I know they haven't cited "lore reasons" as to why Sleipnir can't fly . . . they just haven't given him the ability to fly. Your thread might get more attention in general.

There's no time frame given, but making it so Sleipnir can fly is planned (it was a question at the QA panel at Fan Fest).

So as Yoshida often says (and even said in response to that very question) - Please look forward to it.

I am not bothered that it can't fly I just wish it was a bit more flashy. Maybe some darkness glow/mist around the feet like fog or something added to give some additional effects.

I'm still laughing because I don't understand why people would pay $24 for something that does the exact same thing as something that's free... but hey, your prerogative.
