Boredom with my job

So ive been a mnk since beta on the ps3 and I\\'m starting to get burnt out on my job and I\\'m starting to loos intrist in ff14 cas of this anyone else feel this way I meen I try ed changing jobs when ninja came out but seriously dislike what they did to ninja in hevensward so I went back to mnk but now idk it\\'s just not as apealing as it once was I\\'m realy hoping the jobs in 4.0 are fun and something difrent to the curent ones what are your guys thoughts on this and are you feeling the same way

I have I have alot of the jobs at 60 trubble is I catch alot of flack cas I'm verry idisicive when I comes to my jobs sooo monk was the one I stuck with for so long cas I liked it alot but now idk i realy like sumoner but there's alot of them in the raid community on my server so it sucks cas I Ultamitly am stuck as mnk anyway to get any raiding done

My gole with this thread was to see if others felt like I do i have tryed all the other jobs most are at 60 some lvled to 25+

I started off pugilist but went ninja by like lvl 37, I don't know why people enjoy being a monk besides for the dps output, lol.

i played WHM from beta 2013 until a few months ago. yes, i feel the same. gladly i found DRK to be very fun to play. but since i need a lot of time to learn new classes (especially tanking causes some anxietey) i still stick to WHM for the harder content, even if i don't have much fun anymore playing it.

Try a job in another role, like AST or MRD.
Play it 1 month and change back to MNK.

It is always good to like more than just 1 job. If one job get boring you can change to another favorite job until the other job get interesting again.

There's your problem right there. Caring what other people think when you're paying to play this game. If people take issue with you wanting to explore other possibilities in the game, then its time for you to find new people to associate with. As others have mentioned, possibly branch out into different roles. Maybe WAR is right up your alley since its like the best OT in the game, so you can still DPS.

If that doesn't work, maybe consider doing other aspects of the game like crafting/gathering. Or as Yoshida suggested "Its alright to take a break until the next patch."

i try to gear all roles, so i can switch around job, whenever.
usually raid as DRG, do roulettes as sch. if que time is to long, i just do roulette as WAR or DRK. etc. If i had just gone with one job for 3 years, i'd probably be really bored too.
So...just go as whatever job you like, to weeping and gear up, the do it with another job and so on, just play whatever job you feel like for the moment.
If you're stuck with raiding as MNK, then just raid with MNK, and do other content with other jobs; it's only going to make it worse, if you keep using MNK for everything.
