Fatal DirectX Error (11000002)

So I read all the past posts for this same error and have tried every single method to try to fix and none have worked. XIV is the only game of mine that crashes with that error. I wasn't getting this error until the recent Nvidia driver updates from this month of October 2016. So i'm guessing the only permanent fix to this is to get a better graphics card?

Mobo: Gigabyte GA-78LMT-USB3
CPU: AMD FX-8320 Eight-Core Processor 3.50 GHz
GPU: MSI GTX 960, Driver: 375.70
OS: Windows 7 64-bit
RAM: 8.00GB

hello. be sure to start the game in directX11 mode at your launcher settings. Else install all latest rivers and Windows updates. If ths wont work use the next oldest driver. They are bugged often at NVIDIA.

I am having the same issue. I had it with the older drivers, and updated just today to the most recent, and still receive the error. It isn't common, just once in awhile, but not sure why now (It was error-free the past month since I switched to PC)
