Require Some Assistance

Ok, Quick summary I've had FFARR for a while now, back when it first came out I use to play it on ps3, stopped playing switched over to playing it on my laptop through steam for a bit.

Just this year started up playing again, Downloaded onto my ps4 worked excellent but I wanted to play it from my laptop again, so I downloaded it from steam on the same account that it was originally used for only difference is the laptop I am using. After I let it download and patch launcher Its asking me for a CD Key and I cant use the one I have because its been used already by me.

Does this mean Ill have to pay to buy another copy to just get a CD key to play it through steam once again, or what?

You can actually download it directly from the FFXIV main site instead the
Steam version seems to use a different method. Once you install the version from the website it will ask you for your mogstation info and that is that
