Your take on Alts

Having access to 7 alts per server only costs as much as 1.5 retainers, and is likely supposed to have an entirely different function (e.g. roleplaying, character story-craft).

Of course, in an ideal world even after no longer needing to hand off an item to a friend to hand it off in turn to an alt, perhaps those 7 extra characters would still mostly avoid the fate of becoming bank alts. But that would be a world after retainer revenue, and with that the desire to avoid their fees.

You lost me there I wasnt even talking about retainers , more so like a character bank or something of the sort thats maybe done in the mog station or something and , its two dollars more, or maybe three I dont remeber. And also you pay for mounts are clothes in the mog station as well.

I totally agree with you.... Because we ARE paying extra for our alts we should be getting something back for what we pay for..like you.. i dont mind levelling again.. in fact i have...1 main and 2 alts all at 60 with all gatherers and crafters at 60... all your asking basicly is having the right to be able to help your alts yourself.. your not asking for anything to be skipped.. your not asking for hand outs.. ur asking that your alts be able to ** communicate** with each other via mail or other means eg an internal bank.. to send gear across or gil across etc. And i fully agree and totally support that and i know im not the only one. yes we dont need to have alts but if we choose to PAY the extra to have them then we should be able to communicate with them somehow without relying on friends or the fc chest.. nor should we have to make our own fc to be able to do this.
