You shouldn't have to pop 2 cooldowns to survive the tankbuster. It really helps if you have a SCH or Noct AST to throw a shield up on you before, and if you have someone Virus the tankbuster as well. For the adds, you don't even need to tank the Second Demiurge. Just let the DPS burn him down because he does minimal damage. One tank grab the Third, and the other grab the First.

People in RF/DF make the fight harder than it really is. Usually by messing up the sin and punishment mechanic (I always have people trying to stack with my partner instead of theirs, or people overlapping the circles), or messing up the part where you need to bait the Quasar meteors before she does the Thunder II Execute. Once you do the fight enough, it becomes very predictable. Don't give up on it just yet.

I'm not a "hardcore" player. Up until recently, I had only cleared Ravana Ex. SophEx was the second HW Ex primal for me to clear, and I cleared it on my DRK with an ilvl of 232. I have not been in NidEx, cleared BisEx and ThorEx literally last week, and I have seen SephEx to 2%. So I'm not hardcore. Just keep at it! Bring friends into a clear party, and use Discord or Teamspeak to have them call out mechanics to you.
