I'm not usually one to rabblerouse about this sort of thing, but two entire datacenters going down for 12+ hours and counting? Somebody needs to be fixing this situation and UPDATING US ABOUT THE PROBLEM, the silence is the most unacceptable part.
Bug your ISP to bug the backbone providers if you want this to be fixed faster.

I beg to differ that it's not SE's problem. If it was an ISP problem one ISP would be effected (Comcast for example) not multiple ISP's across the country. And if it is because there's only one route to the server then it is SE's fault for not distributing the servers more widely rather than having them centralized.

YOUR ISP just happens to route everything through the one that is affected.
There are plenty of european and american players that are completely unaffected playing on Aether right now.

Even if it's not "their fault", it shouldn't be up to the playerbase to have to dig up the root causes of the issue, SE should at the very least be on top of this and explaining exactly what's going on and what steps are being made to correct the problem. As a paying customer I believe it's within my rights to receive prompt updates when faced with interruption of service, I'm not asking for free sub time or in game items or anything, I just want to be updated on the situation in a timely manner instead of over half a day later still having to research elsewhere to get a picture of the situation.
