Aether Data Center Not allowing Me to Connect

Wow... really?! I went to bed, wake up and the issue still isn't resolved.

My game initially crashed when I attempted to make a new char on the same server as my main, same error codes too.

I tried creating and connecting with the alt a second time and successfully connected. I'm actually running around doing early Main Scenario stuff... but I am loaded into a city and I can see some other players as well...

Getting 2002 all the times i have tried. I hope this gets fixed soon.

Same thing is happening to me. I can log in with one of my characters, but not with the other 8 on the server.

Thought it was fixed late at night / early morning now its back

From Midgardsormr here, unable to log in at all ( got kicked yesterday night, couldnt get back in ), having a bunch of 90002 or 10105, and now, the data center cant even be reached when trying to log in

My question is how will SE make it up to people unable to play? Especially if they are paying for the service.

I can confirm this method works:

Reppu - Today at 8:11 AM
As a heads up to th ewhole 'Cannot Connect' thing, it's pretty much confirmed to be all us unfortunate US players who route to Canada, through Level3. 8 hours later, decided to use my VPN to bypass Level3, and yeah. I can log in. No ETA On when this mess is getting fixed. So on the plus side; you can use a VPN to get onto XIV if you're being affected by this.

You usually have to pay for VPN I think, it's not an option I'm taking. I'll contact Comcast to ask them about this "Level3" and what, if any, purported conflicts there could be.
