Introduction

Hello ya'll ^^. I've been playing Final Fantasy XIV since it was released and Final Fantasy in general for well...a long time, haha! I play as Kai Crystallis on the Rabanastre server and belong to the Order of the Blue Garter linkshell.

I've made a complete and up to date sidequest guide as detailed in the posts below. This guide is completely up to date with everything from pre-requisites to the exact rewards given as verified by me and other helpful community members! In Patch 1.19 many rewards from the below sidequest were changed due to the recipe revamp. For example the sidequest "The Ultimate Prank" no longer gives the reward "Canvas Trousers" but now gives " Linen Trousers". I will continue to update this post every single patch to ensure that the details match the most recent patch and that you are easily able to locate all sidequest information you need!

I really hope this up to date sidequest guide helps everyone. I want this list to be the as accurate and helpful as possible so please let me know if you have any questions, suggestions, or critique whatsoever so together we can continue to build the community.


Legend

The list below is separated into five sections representing the four continents where sidequests are currently available (Thanalan, La Noscea, The Black Shroud, and Coerthas) along with an Event section representing season events which will be logged in your Journal's sidequest section. Each sidequest layout is detailed as exampled below with the following information:

Quest: Best Flower Ever
• The name of the quest exactly as shown in the sidequest section in your Journal.
Client: Sasapano
• The name of the NPC that you must speak with to initiate the sidequest.
Requires: Disciples of War or Magic, Level 10
• The discipline required in order to initiate the sidequest.
• Disciples of War or Magic: PGL, GLA, MRD, ARC, LNC, THM, or CNJ.
• All: Any discipline including the disciples of War, Magic, Land, or Hand.
Reward: 300XP & 5,000 gil
• The reward you are given for completing the sidequest.
• All XP rewards will be given to the discipline that you are when you speak with the quest NPC to complete the sidequest.
• If a reward has the tilde symbol "~" this means that your reward will be lowered if you have not met or exceeded the required level at the time of completion. If you meet or exceed the required level you will receive the full amount of XP listed.

I think the wiki should be mostly/all accurate on these now as well. Category:Sidequests. Also created a tracking page, since I couldn't remember which ones I had done and which needed doing. Sidequest_Checklist. It can be used on your user page (mine, for example)
