I like the trap door idea n mayb the bonus room occasionally come across a room with door with warning could be full of perils or treasure
TPK (Total Party Kill) mechanics. Some traps that just cause the rocks to fall in the area around you instaly killing your entire party.
Super-slow mechanic. Reduce your attack speed by 90% (so that 2.5s GCD becomes 25 seconds), lasts 30 minutes, cannot be cleansed (not even by the fairy)
Harsh poison effects. I'm talking say 90% of every member's health every 5 seconds or so.
Locking mechanics, so traps that basically lock out rooms, and they cannot be unlocked by any means.
Basically, super-hardcore.
White Mage ~ Scholar ~ PaladinBoi if you got kicked for the same thing in over 20 duties I strongly suggest you think hard on whatever the hell it is you're doing
As I'm sure you are well aware, it takes more than one person to be able to kick a player from a duty, so in all those instances there were at least two people agreeing they'd be better off without you tanking.
How about a pomander that brings in a 5th member for temporary time. This member would be a fallen member from our MSQ who was an ally such as Haurchefant, Moenbryda, Wilred, Edda, Avere, etc. Since this could be a spoiler for some, who shows up is determined by the player who has finished the least amount of story, so the 1st available NPC would be Avere since he died early on and also that whole 2nd party that gets killed and shows up in the 1st 50 floors. The more accomplished the group is in the story, the more NPC possibilities are available. If not as a fifth member, then they pop up as a super powerful attack that obliterates everything in the room. I would call this Pomander of Friendship or something like that.

Something akin to the Tonberry Chaser from Wanderer's Palace. Something ridiculously deadly that can't be killed, randomly stalking the halls, and you never know when he's gonna show up. Perhaps in the middle of mapping a floor you hear a deep, distant roar, and the music gets more intense signifying that it's appeared - while everyone starts panicking and deciding what to do!![]()
How about a Mob that tries to steal buffs. Imaging a monster running aroung with Hallowed Ground. Or one that steals Blood for Blood, Raging Strikes AND Internal release.
Accursed Horde has a chance to explode or be a mimic.
A monk called maat that could teleport your party to floor 1 if he hits you.
How about they let us change to any job/class whenever we want ?
No crafting,gathering of course.
Pits, pits everywhere... Pits with invisible bridges so there's a chance that you will walk off into oblivion or find the bridge and live, lmao.
Or you know,this;
Do you know the answer?!
