    Question about SCH and stats

I know you want to get Crit > Det > The rest for SCH.
My question is stacking crit stat but be lacking in determination better? ie.
    Crit Rate: 805
    Det: 572

or Is it better to have decent crit with good determination?
    Crit Rate: 680
    Det: 650

    Higher crit is always better.

Avoid Det, but maximize crit. Aim for 13k MP [650-700 piety.] Stack Accuracy up to 594 if you have relic [120 acc, 120 crit] If not meld all slots with Accuracy and consider overmelding an accessory.

My personal preference is Crit>>>SS>> Piety after 680>> Det.

If you just heal, it doesn't matter really, but crit would be better for Adlo alone.

This is the BiS I'm shooting for. If I can stomach dropping down to 550ish piety again, Ill go for the Alex Top instead.

My previous i250 piece had like 115 crit, 121 pie and 24 acc with melds. The difference with Alex top is +14 crit, +86 det, and -121 pie. I am back down to 563 piety, so I wonder if I will face problems. Is there something special about having a certain amount of Piety? SCH feels really hard to play well.

SCH has the best MP recovery of the three healers, but it also has the lowest MP given per piety.( ~400ish less naked and 550 at 640ish piety for me. ) In content where DPS is too low, piety helps to keep you trucking along or when multiple raises have to go out. Broil isn't cheap. From my experience, dropping below 13k MP makes it rough those last couple seconds before aetherflow comes back up. I also use the majority of my stacks on healing, so I usually don't get direct MP back, choosing instead to boost my coheals DPS by weaving lustrate/indom over just my own. This also lets you stay in Cleric Stance longer on the GCD, which minimizes dps loss.

But if you really don't feel you need the extra piety then you're doing great! Grats on that top! :3

Yeah depends if you're still on progress. Personally since i'll essentially play with my static i'm confident with it. So i'll avoid piety as much as i can ( yet i'll have like 600 of it).
Full dps babiiiies ( cuz after all that's all we are :3)

I personally go for Crit > Pie > Whatever else. This, of course, after melding enough Accuracy to meet caps (594). If a 270 piece has no Crit on it, I try to go for the one that has a main Pie stat regardless of whatever the other is (Det/SS).

Det is IMO the worst stat for Scholar, as you don't really get much out of it, though some people argue that SS is equal or worse. In any case, the priority system is what the others have mentioned.

As a side note that I don't see mentioned too much, a big thing that Crit has going for it apart from DPS and the possibility of a super barrier, is that your Crit also affects the fairy crits. You will rely a lot on her healing both to help your co-healer or to just support your own healing if you're going solo, and since she literally spams her healbot spell over and over, a bigger chance for a crit Embrace in her spam is very welcome. Her crit numbers can go stupidly high when she's buffed too, which can help both you and your co-healer to stay in CS for longer if only the main tank is taking damage.

    Hope that helps!

I really don't feel like piety should be valued above det. I shun piety on every piece possible and never even come close to running out of mp on savage fights (though I haven't gotten to A12S yet).

I don't know how true it is, but I've heard that det scales really well with cleric stance, and ariyala's has det listed really high on the priority for us for some reason, so it probably helps DPS a lot. Plus slightly bigger heals/shields is ok.

IDK, but det has never been as high as it is listed so I think their scholar weights are just plain wrong.

Just, I really do not like piety lol.
