Will they make it possible to dye the different parts of our glamour in the future?

I think Yoshi's response was "We'll need PS5 for that" aka the new "PS3 limitations".
They deliberated a bit on stage about it though, so it's between "Please look forward to it" and "We'll need PS5 for that" right now.
Looooved gearing up in both GW2 and Rift. Rift was such a great game and the AH in rift was kickass with the searches and posting and being able to buy part of a stack rather than having to buy 99 to use one piece, and the bidding feature was cool too and, and, and, oh well.
If you mean "dye this part red and another part blue", then... I somewhat doubt it, if only because it seems like a headache to implement.
This is something I'd seriously like to see them implement. It worked great in Guild Wars 2, so it's a little disappointing to see your multi colored equipment here turn shades of the same color.
Many much older MMOs with far less capable engines have systems where you can dye multiple sections of the same piece of gear.
Things like personalization of our characters is not important to this team as can be seen with the general homogenization of classes & gear/gear progression.
I.e. It's not that it is cumbersome or difficult, but rather it is an issue of they don't care/want to do it. Which is fine; it's their game. It's just lame as are the excuses they provide.
No matter where you go; there you are.
The difference in implementation between added a feature to a game that wasn't initially intended by the engine, and starting a game with a certain feature in mind is massive. Many much older MMOs with far less capable engines have systems where you can dye multiple sections of the same piece of gear.

IE: Mabinogi could dye multiple parts of your clothes, it was designed for this, it works just fine. They later tried to add dual wield high mobility gun wielding 'classes', and they're basically just as clunky as the rest of their combat because the engine really wasn't built for it in mind.
Or look at APB. The Customization in that game is second to none, it's amazing. It took them months to actually add a deathmatch mode that functioned properly. Trying to implement some new (even a simple ) system into a full game is a hefty task.
I understand this. And that there is work entailed on the back end integrating a new system into an existing system. They still have the resources to easily manage such a change. They've had 3x financial resources for work on the new expansion over what they had for HW. The implementation of such a system.
They've added MANY systems to the game that weren't originally a part of the starting system. Housing, glamours existing at all, hunts, etc... It's matter of desire from the team's side as much as anything. If the desire was there to get it done it would get done. It's not so it hasn't.

That's fine as I stated it's their game and I enjoy it for what it is. But the general sentiment of character homogenization that exists in game and in the minds of the dev team in systems such as locked in vertical progression treadmills with no means for personalizing you character and how it plays or not being able to make your character look all that much different from anyone else is clear. Again, that's fine, but it doesn't mean it's not the case.
As always, you can't please everyone all the time. This falls into that category. To the team there are more important things to designate resources to. Cool, nbd. It's just a personal desire I have for the game.
