I love the sympathy of level 60 people who can solo an A rank for players who don't stand a chance. Wonderful people, such a caring community.
Why would you be running through N Than at level 10? Theres no reason to go there other than to get killed.

And walking from Uldah to Grid is a cake walk.... Central than > Eastern than > South shroud > Central shroud.

Try running to a town and asking for help instead of running to the forums and asking for a nerf next time.

Just hear me out for a second. I saw earlier that a monk had a quest location where an A rank had spawned and it did not like him AT ALL. So he was forced to stop and wait for hunters to take care of it. ACTUAL INCONVENIENCE. What if Elite ranked monsters started attacking towns and villages and such? Or the Ixal beast quest's little hideaway in the south shroud? It goes from a chore of busy work to doing a public service in the game. Just food for thought.
Time to find a new game if that happens.

    Ah this situation.
A green sprout shouted in south shroud that big monster blocked his way and I'm kinda fishing nearby so I rushed to the scene.
Ghede T Malice was there so I poped Gyshal Green and murdered that big white cute thing.
The newbie said " thank you, miss chocobo"
Well,I was glamour with chocobo helmet and yellow outfit.

That said, it is kind of inconvenient. I remember trying to do my low level MNK jobquest, and an A rank was right on top of the quest location.
I tried to complete the quest 3 times until I just gave up and decided to return the next day when the hunt was over ~.~
Have you tried out "/shout <t> hunt at <pos>"?

Jeez, if I were a new player with this problem and I saw this thread, I'd probably abandon the game. Such nice people here.

I believe this works in the lores's favor and is the reason why we have hunts to begin with. Fierce monsters terrorize new adventurers, so the Grand Companies tasked experienced adventurers to go out into the world to deal with them. I'm sure I've read that somewhere in-game.

If I was a new player and saw a huge Lv 50 mob with a red mark next to it's name, I would probably not venture too close to it.

    It's common sense, really.

I think it's fine lol and in fact I hope they make more dangerous zones.

Whenever I get one shotted I'm always dying laughing...haha and also I've learned from playing many mmo with dangerous monsters how to avoid aggro...hehe its easy.

Also it was a great way to meet awesome people actually lol. I can't tell you how many amazing human beings I've met who raised me and/or killed the mob in my way.

Anyway, Eureka should prove interesting in 4.0...haha

In all honesty we should not be running into things that auto aggro on players in newbie areas that are capable of one-shotting a character. It's a pain in the ass, to say the least
It really isnt that big of a deal. Most MMOs do this. And those A rank mobs have a low aggro radius so it's not like you are doing a quest and they spot you 13 yalms away and then kills you.

And if the A or S rank is standing in your way to a quest the best way to remedy your woes is to /shout <t> hunt at <pos>

wait a few minutes. Mob dead

    Problem solved.
