Elite hunt marks aggroing in sarter zones! WTH?

It's been a while since I last played an Alt from the start, but I don't remember this being a problem before.

Who in their right mind thought it was a good idea to have A rank hunts spawning right in the the middle of an area populated by brand new characters?

Yesterday I ran right into Girtab just outside of Gridania in the North shroud, about a nanosecond after the damned thing aggro'd I was a very dead character. what the heck is this thing doing outside the serpent gate of Gridania?

Then today I found Vogaal Ja just outside Summerford in Middle La Noscea. Fortunately it didn't aggro on me, I saw it before I literally ran into it.

In the entire time I've played FFXIV, or in other words since they implemented the Hunts, I haven't run into this problem once at all. Now in the last two days, I have done so twice in different locations. Has something changed? Did some one in the Dev team spend so long listening to the high level players whining about starter zones not being dangerous enough that they decided to spice things up or something?

If so, please unspice it. New characters haven't got a snowball's chance in hell of surviving these encounters, Unless there happens to be someone nice enough to raise them and kill the mark they're doomed to returning to their home point and figuring out a way around the thing.

In all honesty we should not be running into things that auto aggro on players in newbie areas that are capable of one-shotting a character. It's a pain in the ass, to say the least

Giant thing that looks like it eats face will eat faces. It doesn't care what our level is.

PS Be glad it's better than 1.x when every starter zone was filled with aggressive level 40+ mobs roaming around between level 1-5 quest objectives.

I'm glad FFXIV is better, but that relative comparison doesn't alter this being a stupid thing.

Also, the B ranks do not aggro, so not every big thing that looks like it eats faces eats faces.

This has always been the case. It's also not really a big deal.

Until they spawn right on top of a quest objective... >_< That's happened more than once to me.

Lol given how long those have been around, you really never thought about it while killing them? It is always amusing seeing an S rank pop right on a single digit fate though. I must say that this element does bring back the nostalgia of Ragnarok Online and their odd placement for elite mobs. Or with those stupid summoning branches that people could use to summon elites. Oh the trolling was real in that game. Zoning into Angelring and his army of porings and new people spamming "WTF happened?!?!?!"

You know I don't hunt that much on my main character, and in all the time I've played I've not seen an A rank as close as these to areas where new players are going to be. But, he, whatever. Perhaps SE should start dropping level 120 (Yes, I know they don't exist, but you get the point I am sure) Elites in Idylshire to shake things up?

1 A rank in every zone exist since Hunt came ingame. It is not new. Where in that zone the A rank spawn is totaly random.
