It's been a while since I last played an Alt from the start, but I don't remember this being a problem before.
Who in their right mind thought it was a good idea to have A rank hunts spawning right in the the middle of an area populated by brand new characters?
Yesterday I ran right into Girtab just outside of Gridania in the North shroud, about a nanosecond after the damned thing aggro'd I was a very dead character. what the heck is this thing doing outside the serpent gate of Gridania?
Then today I found Vogaal Ja just outside Summerford in Middle La Noscea. Fortunately it didn't aggro on me, I saw it before I literally ran into it.
In the entire time I've played FFXIV, or in other words since they implemented the Hunts, I haven't run into this problem once at all. Now in the last two days, I have done so twice in different locations. Has something changed? Did some one in the Dev team spend so long listening to the high level players whining about starter zones not being dangerous enough that they decided to spice things up or something?
If so, please unspice it. New characters haven't got a snowball's chance in hell of surviving these encounters, Unless there happens to be someone nice enough to raise them and kill the mark they're doomed to returning to their home point and figuring out a way around the thing.
In all honesty we should not be running into things that auto aggro on players in newbie areas that are capable of one-shotting a character. It's a pain in the ass, to say the least
